The Power of Reflection
Each morning I read, reflect and write from Stephen Covey's Daily Reflections for Highly Effective People.
Each day the reflection references a page number from the book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
I will read that particular small section from 7 Habits in order to gain a better understanding of that day's reflection.
Often times I will consider connections to other reading such as Chopra, Gibran, Porras, Resnick, Wagner and others.
My Daily Affirmations
I use as a bookmark in 7 Habits a sheet of paper on which I have written four affirmations that I repeat three times each -
- Day by day in every way I am getting better and better.
- I can adapt and thrive in all of my roles.
- I believe I can help others to learn to adapt and thrive.
- I will have a positive impact on North Carolina Marketing and Entrepreneurship Education.
